A guide to the selection of machines producing non-baked brick

  30/05/2017

One of the indispensable equipment in the production of unbaked bricks is the brick press. However, there are now many different types of brick presses, corresponding to different production lines, to produce bricks of various sizes, durability and suitability for use. Here are instructions on how to choose the production line corresponding to the brick press machine to better serve production requirements.

1. Production line

Adobe bricks   Use land, sand and cement as raw materials for production. And this ingredient is used to produce tiles of dimensions 210 x 110 x 55 (mm), weight 2 ÷ 2.2 kg / bricks, mainly applied for grade 4 or 1 buildings. - 2 floors.

When choosing the production line for this type of brick , attention should be paid to the inorganic polymertechnology with silicone (Si) and (Al) polymers, while fully complying with the following production processes:

- Step 1: The land used for brick production must be dried until the moisture in the soil reaches about 12 ÷ 15%.

- Step 2: Use the dried soil in step 1 to mix with the soil and additives additive ratio of 80:20. For the mixture to be most uniform, use a mixed mixer.

- Step 3: Incorporate the ingredients in Step 2 into the lime with a moisture content of 15 - 18%. This should be done on cement or concrete substrates to ensure the best compost.

- Step 4: Mix the composted material with construction wastes, scraps, macadams, gravels and wet additives in the ratio of 3 parts dry and 2 parts wet. The reason for this step is to increase the adhesion of the inorganic polymer chains during brick formation.

- Step 5: Press the mixture on the brick press in units of 550 ÷ 650 kg / cm2.

2. Choose unbaked brick presses

Choosing the right type of brick press for the production line will contribute to increased productivity and labor productivity while cutting down on costs or risks in the production process. With this production line, you will have two choices for two types of brick presses: hydraulic presses (in-house machines) and crank presses (imported) with specifications.
